David Jones, CFP

Certified Financial Planner

David is a Senior Financial Planner and the founding partner of Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. He works with the Investment team to provide customized financial solutions that allow individuals and businesses to achieve those goals that are most important to them.

His business and farming background enables him to focus on Tax, Investment and Estate planning along with traditional retirement and income planning strategies.

David, along with wife Deb, purchased their insurance and real estate business in 1983 and by 1991 he was concentrating on Investment and Financial planning and received his CFP designation. He has 4 daughters and 9 grandchildren and is excited about working with his daughter Brooklyn while continuing to enjoy travel, sports, volunteering and the grandkids

David is licensed for the sale of Mutual Funds in the provinces of Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta & British Columbia.

Curtis Dickson

Mutual Funds Branch Manager, Financial Advisor & Realtor

Curtis’ focus is working with clients to assist them in making major financial decisions: retirement, changing careers, starting a family or buying their first home. Curtis feels that all major decisions should be thoroughly reviewed before choosing the right path.

Curtis started his career with N.H. Lewis Agencies in 1996, obtained his Mutual Fund license and worked primarily in the financial services division within the company. In 1997 Curtis wrote his Life & Disability Insurance license which continued to broaden his knowledge. In 1998 N.H Lewis Agencies joined with the firm Baker & Jones to form the company Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. as we know it today. In 2008 Curtis further expanded his role by passing his Realtor License where he continues to enjoy meeting new people in the community. Curtis later became a partner in Lewis & Jones Group and today is very excited to be part of this well established organization.

Curtis & his wife Diane enjoy small town life in Killarney and over the years have been very active watching & supporting their kids in all their extracurricular activities. Curtis & Diane have 4 children, all of whom are furthering their education at University. Curtis & Diane enjoy getting out on the golf course in the summer and the occasional winter beach holiday.

Curtis is licensed for Insurance in the province of Manitoba and the sale of Mutual Funds in the province of Manitoba.

Rob MacDonald, BCom (Hons), CAIB

Insurance Broker

Rob started his career in the insurance industry in October 1995 with Baker & Jones Agencies after becoming licensed as a general insurance broker. In 1998 he was part of the merger with NH Lewis Agencies which formed Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. In 2001, he received his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) Designation. He works with all different aspects of insurance including farm, home and commercial insurance. Rob feels that as a broker it is very important to get familiar with each client situation and keep an open communication channel with them in order to protect their assets properly.

Rob grew up on a small mixed farm west of Minnedosa, MB where he graduated highschool in 1986. He went to the University of Manitoba and obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in 1991. At that point, he knew he wanted to move back to rural Manitoba to live and in 1992 was offered the position of Recreation Director in Killarney.

Rob and his spouse Kristine have enjoyed making Killarney home and really feel grateful to be in such a great community to raise their family. Their boys are Garrett and Eric. He currently really enjoys watching the boys in their extracurricular activities. Rob has been involved in numerous volunteer committees over the years.

Rob is licensed for Insurance in the province of Manitoba.

Brooklyn Scott, BSc.

Principle & Financial Advisor

Brooklyn joined Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. in April 2016. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in 2008 and previously worked at Brandon University as an administrative clerk in Ancillary Services, the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Science. She has been working with investment clients for nearly a decade alongside David and is currently working towards her designation of Certified Financial Planner. She enjoys working with clients to provide personalized financial advice no matter their age or stage in life including new investors, working families and retirees.

Brooklyn lives on a cattle farm between Boissevain and Killarney and along with her husband, Bryce is involved in her three children's various sports and activities. When not shuttling children between rinks and ball diamonds in southwest Manitoba she likes playing hockey herself, golfing and exploring different artistic pursuits.

Brooklyn is licensed for Insurance in the province of Manitoba and the sale of Mutual Funds in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta & British Columbia.

Greg Patton

Financial Advisor

Greg is a member of our Investment and Insurance team coming from a service and banking management background. Greg has called Killarney, Manitoba, home for the last seven years with his two children, stepson and wife, Lorette. Born in Brandon, Manitoba, Greg has built a career in serving his clients while working in diverse environments across Canada from Kingston and Toronto, Ontario to Pond Inlet, Nunavut. These experiences have provided him with a deep understanding of community needs and the importance of personalized financial planning for clients of all backgrounds.

Committed to trust and transparency, Greg works with individuals and families to create financial plans that align with their vision for the future. He is dedicated to helping clients navigate their financial goals with confidence and his approach focuses on understanding individual needs, providing clear guidance, and developing tailored strategies to support long-term financial success.

In his spare time he is an avid guitarist and writer who also enjoys drawing, watercolor painting, and many forms of artistic expression.

Greg is licensed for the sale of Insurance and Mutual Funds in Manitoba.

Lorette Delaurier

Investment Team , Administrative Assistant

Lorette joined Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. in February of 2024 and works alongside Lorrie Elliott in the Investment Department supporting and assisting the Financial Advisors Brooklyn, Curtis, David and Greg. Lorette graduated from Assiniboine Community College, Business Administration Program in 2006 and completed the Canadian Investment Fund Course in December of 2024.

Lorette spent 3 enriching years in Italy and has worked in various business administration and executive assistant positions, payroll, insurance, and has 8 years of insurance experience with Manitoba Public Insurance. Over the last 10 years, she lived in Brandon, Manitoba where she worked and volunteered within the community. Lorette was born in Ste. Rose, Manitoba, but now calls Killarney, Manitoba home and feels so fortunate to raise her son in such a warm and welcoming community. In her spare time, Lorette enjoys crafts that include upcycling and repurposing, visiting family around Manitoba and cherishes time with her husband Greg and their 3 children.

Lorette is licensed for the sale of Mutual Funds in the province of Manitoba.

Lorrie Elliott

Investment Team, Administrative Assistant

Lorrie (alongside Lorette) works closely with our Financial Advisors, Brooklyn, Curtis, David, and Greg. Her main focus is supporting the Financial Advisors by managing the administration processes behind the scenes. Keeping up with policy and processing changes along with managing document workflow, thus giving Lewis & Jones’ clients the peace of mind knowing their business is being looked after.

Lorrie joined the Lewis & Jones Group Ltd. team in Sept. of 2000 after graduating from Assiniboine Community College Business Administration Program. She completed her Canadian Investment Fund Course in 2002.

Lorrie spends her spare time cheering on her children in their extracurricular activities. When she is not at a hockey rink, volleyball court, or ball diamond, her and her husband, Doug, along with their children can be found camping and just enjoying the outdoors.

Lorrie is licensed for the sale of Mutual Funds in the province of Manitoba.

Candace Andries

General Insurance & Autopac Broker

Candace has wonderful people skills, she is a great listener with a fine attention to detail. She is able to understand client needs and as a result provide awesome customer service. She has been with Lewis & Jones for over 10 years. Starting first in Autopac and graduating to general insurance becoming a member of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.
Candace and her husband Jeff enjoy watching their two sons, Andrew and Dawson participate in hockey and baseball. Candace also loves horseback riding with her horse, Saphire. The latest addition to the Andries family is a puppy, Zoey.

Cathy Desrochers

Insurance Broker & Autopac

Cathy is the ‘work wife’ of Travis & Rob and Lewis & Jones Group’s funniest employee. Cathy has been with Lewis & Jones since 1992. She started first as a payroll clerk at NH Lewis Agencies then moved into Autopac duties, taking various MPI courses throughout the years. She has more recently begun to learn the Insurance Side of the Business along with some accounting duties after realizing the insurance side is what she enjoyed the most.

She is currently the President of the Insurance Women of Western Manitoba. She has been a member for approximately 10 years and has sat on many committees since joining. She enjoys golfing, curling and more recently fishing. She is attempting to learn Spanish and loves spending time with family and friends. She is a proud Mama to Mike, and Megan, Grandma to Linkon and partner to Paul. She has one fur baby, Pepe.

Noilah Oddleifson, CAIB

Insurance Broker & Autopac Broker

Noilah began working at Lewis & Jones in November of 2016. She recently earned her CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) Designation through the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and is completing her Business Administration diploma through distance education with ACC. She helps clients with MPI transactions and travel insurance. Outside of work she enjoys camping, spending time with her dog, and being out on the lake. She skates out of Brandon with Wheat City ConnXion throughout the winter months.

Noilah is licensed for General and Auto Insurance in the province of Manitoba.

Cathy Desrochers, CAIB

Cathy is the funniest employee at Lewis & Jones - just ask her! Cathy has been with Lewis & Jones since 1992. She started first as a payroll clerk at NH Lewis Agencies then moved into Autopac duties taking various MPI courses throughout the years. In April 1999, Cathy Received her CAIB designation with Honors and began to learn the insurance side of the business. She still enjoys the MPI side, but her main focus is General Insurance processing. Cathy has been a member IWAWM (the Insurance Women of Western Manitoba) for approximately 15 years and has sat on many committees since joining. Currently, she is serving as the President.

Cathy loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys time at the lake ATV-ing and fishing. She is a proud mama to Mike and Megan, and Grandma to Linkon. Cathy is married to Paul and together they have two fur babies, Pepe & Rosie.

Cathy is licensed for General and Auto Insurance in the province of Manitoba.

Brenda Svoboda

Accountant

Brenda has been with Lewis & Jones since 2016 in a part-time roll and full-time in the accounting department since 2019. Brenda moved to Killarney in 2004 and continues to live in town with her husband Jim and two sons Evan and Jordan.

Marlee Cline

Realtor, Real Estate Broker

Marlee is part of our busy Real Estate team! Marlee started with Lewis & Jones in June 2015 and became a real estate broker in 2023. She brings excellent listening and problem-solving skills to help find clients the homes of their dreams. She has great marketing and tech-skills to sell properties as quickly as possible. She worked in a variety of fields prior to coming to Lewis & Jones, always taking opportunities to further her education whenever possible. Marlee takes great pride in helping people, whether it is helping a seller to sell their home, or helping a buyer to purchase one. She strives to do her very best and ends each day with a sense of accomplishment.

Marlee loves golfing and being on the lake in the summer and watching her step sons play hockey in the winter. Marlee also enjoys singing in the Canatata at Chrismas time. Marlee is married to Craig Cline and has two step sons Camden and Keaton.

Travis Hilhorst, CAIB

Insurance Broker

Travis has a background in construction which makes him a valuable asset to the Lewis & Jones Insurance team. Travis has worked at Lewis & Jones for over 17 years and previously worked as a cabinet maker. Travis is available for your insurance sales and claim service needs in the residential, farm and commercial departments. He enjoys travelling to watch sports. He and his wife Bev, have two daughters, Breanne & Cejay and two grandsons Max & Walker.

Travis is licensed for General Insurance in the province of Manitoba.

Kyle Peters, CAIB

Insurance Broker

Kyle is a member of the General Insurance Team! Kyle grew up on a farm near Killarney and has an agricultural background. He attended Bottineau College in the US before returning to Manitoba to finish his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Business Administration, and a minor in Economics, at Brandon University. Kyle is working in the General Insurance Team alongside Travis Hilhorst and Rob MacDonald. He is an active hockey player (Go Shamrocks!), and enjoys golf in the summer.

Kyle is licensed for General Insurance in the province of Manitoba.

Amy Helliwell

Insurance Broker & Autopac Broker

Amy is a dedicated insurance broker with a strong passion for helping others. She specializes in Autopac and General Insurance, and takes pride in making sure her clients feel supported, informed, and confident with every step of the process. Providing excellent service isn't just part of her job - it's something she truly enjoys.

Outside of work, Amy's greatest joy comes from her family. Amy is the proud mom of four beautiful children and wife to an amazing father and part owner of Southwest Vac Services. Her family keeps her grounded, motivated, and constantly inspired. Most of Amy's free time is spent at the rink or the court, cheering on her kids in their sports - especially hockey, volleyball and basketball. She also loves golfing and playing softball when she gets the chance. Whether supporting her clients or family, Amy is always ready to help, connect, and make a positive impact.

Jenn Bylo

Autopac Broker

Jenn is the newest addition to the Lewis & Jones Team! Jenn previously worked for the Turtle Mountain School Division as an Educational Assistant and as a manager at the Shamrock Centre in Killarney. She will be a familiar face to many as she grew up here in town. Jenn enjoys camping, the outdoors and spending time with her two daughters.
